SuperNova Fishing Lights are built to withstand frequent and ongoing use in and around water.
What makes an LED strip waterproof? It's all in the design. The LEDs themselves are wrapped and coated during manufacture to ensure they are not exposed to elements like dust or water. Our strips are fully submersible because of this special coating. Our strips can safely be placed below the waterline on a vessel.
Saltwater is known for how harsh and unforgiving it can be because it is so corrosive. SuperNova uses the highest grade of LED lighting strips available in conjunction with marine grade wiring to minimize any damage that may be caused by constant contact with water. We also use quality 3M products to assemble our strips to ensure the best adherence to your water craft. This will provide you with greatly extended use of your lights and enjoyment for years to come!
As you would with any gear that is used in salt water, we do recommend a rinse and quick wipe-down from time to time to keep it looking its best.
